On February 4th Japan moved into spring time, although if you asked anyone who toured with us in the last 2 weeks, it’s hard to believe…soooooo cold. But we all still had fun!

I haven’t written on the blog since New Years because the team here have been so busy both showing people a good time in Tokyo and researching new ideas to bring you all an even better choice of things you can do with our guides on a Tokyo visit. Many of these options, including our popular private Hakone day tour, will be making there way on to the website over the next few weeks and months, so look out for them!
One such tour is our limited edition Blossom in Tokyo tour. It’s based on the Unwind in Tokyo day tour but rather than go to the Ebisu beer museum we spend the time at Chidorigafuchi, one of the top Sakura or cherry blossom viewing spots. We’ve decided to run this tour from March 30th until April 15th. Now we just have to hope the flowers pop when they’re supposed to!

For anyone interested in the Sakura, our Absolutely Tokyo tour ends up with a visit to Yasukuni Jinja…which is also spectacular with the blossom in bloom.
We hope to see you all in Tokyo some time in 2012, happy travels.
